I had been trying to decide on a converter box for quite some time and finally went with the Tivax stb-t9.  After using it for a few days I would recommend it to anybody.  The STB-T9 comes with a lot of very good features and also gives me an excellent picture.  It also allowed me to get another 8 channels on my television than I had before getting it.  The STB-T9 is pretty small, about the size of your average novel, and comes with a remote conotrol.  Once I got home it was very easy to setup too.  All I had to do was take it out of the box and hook up 2 different wires.  Then I used the auto program function to set the channels and that was it.  If you are looking for a good converter box the Tivax stb-t9 is the real deal.

Decorating your house can be one of the most exciting hobbies out there, as it offers many opportunities to unleash your creativity in your attempt of expressing your personality in the accessories in a room. Everything, from the simplest cellular window blinds which match the laminate floors, to the color of the walls matching the bed lining, everything can be a challenge and a pleasure in the same time. Most people would probably hire a specialized architect or decorator, in order to make sure that they get a professionally arranged home, but I’d rather try it myself. Even if it’s not going to be the greatest ever, at least I know it is my personality and my blueprint in there, and I think this is more important that having a home which looks like a museum.

I think we can all agree that I know nothing at all about real estate. I’m willing to admit that and I think because I did I’m a better person. However, some people who know all about it are offering real estate help which personally I find awesome especially if they aren’t charging anything (although I can imagine they are selling something–themselves possibly) but still I wouldn’t mind tugging on some ears to get some decent advice on where I should part my real estate money (not that I have a whole lot of cash burning a hole in my pocket). 

I recently started reading about real estate and started to read a real estate investing guide to get my skills up. Well the options are basically
1) Buy an ebook for a lot of cash
2) Hire a real estate consultant for even more money
3) Read some free blog for free and get all the proper investing information

Which would you rather do? OK you can sacrifice your pride and silently read this blog and no one will be the wiser or pay through your nose and get the reach around from a real estate agent or adviser who doesn’t really know anything and just wants your money. Decide which one you’d rather do.

I know some of my regular readers read this blog just to get a more clear idea of some of the life lessons I pick up over the years, so today I thought I’d help some people who might consider going paintballing. I know most people would rather read a blog about how to get cheap paintballs but there are other blogs for that.

Here is some basic paintball etiquette that we need to set clear for people who are not used to paintballing. When you shoot someone, only shoot them once! It hurts, so don’t be an idiot and keep shooting them. Also, if someone is tagged and is leaving the field do not shoot them either! They are done and leaving, let them go.

Have you noticed that some VIPs and TV presenters are simply better dressed than others? This is not exactly a reflection of the budget they allocate for clothing, famous shoes and accessories, it is rather a matter of finding an appropriate style, which helps creating that memorable look they are all after. This why some of them are buying the services of fashion advisers, who offer them consultancy and help in choosing and matching their outfits, in order to get the maximum effect on their fans.

I’m not a VIP and I don;t think I’ll ever be one, but I think very seriously to get somebody to teach me how to dress, because I simply don’t like the way I look, and I don’t know what to do to improve it.

I don’t know anything about grading baseball cards.  All of the people that I have spoken too have told me that if you want to sell you baseball cards or football cards on ebay you have to get them graded by a third party company.  If found a company in Florida which is the most affordable and had great customer service.  I really am not too sure about the whole process but I know that if I don’t get them graded and start selling them my wife is going to throw me out of the house with the cards.  Great, I will get them graded, sell them for a decent amount of money so my wife can go buy some new shoes and a gucci bag.  I just can’t wait!

I was talking with some teenagers the other day and was amazed to find out how many friends  they thought they had. At least until I started asking them to define real friends.. Turns out real friends are hard to find. The short of it is, I can count my real friends on my right hand and still have fingers left over to have a cigar. That because I dont define real friends as those people you know. Those are acquaintances. .

So I told the kids start with 5 names you consider real friends. Now take them off the list if they don’t make you better people when you are around them. Take them off the list of they wont call you out when you have done wrong. While you’re at it, take them off the list if they let money decide how good a friend you are to them. I bet your list is getting small isnt it? Would you stand up and fight for your real friend? And vice versa?

Finally, would they die in your place if they had the chance? Now the list got real small for everyone. My own son was in the group and I glanced and nodded, yes. son I would.

There are people in your life that need you as much as you need them. Cherish them , real friends are hard to find.

If you are like me, buying car insurance is not something you look forward too. I know I hate it but at least the internet has provided a fast way to get and compare auto insurance rates from the insurance companies. If you think all premiums are the same then you may be paying too much. I would encourage you to do a little research first and at least be aware of the factors affecting the premiums you will be paying. I found an article entitled “How to Get the Lowest Car Insurance” that will give you a run down on what you should look out for when shopping for insurance for your vehicle. Take the time to read it before you begin your online search.

The Presidential Campaign season on in full swing. Now the real mud slinging begins. While Barrack Obama says personal stuff is off limits, you can be sure his aides have full authority to say what ever they want about whomever they want. I frankly donâ??t understand how Americans buy into this crap every 4 years. I want to know why. If Obama is elected I donâ??t see my personal finances in any better shape than they are right now. If McCain is elected I donâ??t see my personal finances any better than they are right now, so what are we really voting for? So that in 4 years we can bitch and moan about how we need another change. This race will be decided by who can sway the lemmings to their side, because thatâ??s what most people are, lemmings. And either one of these candidates will walk you right off the cliff if you let them, just so they can get a vote.

So which one is better for the country? We will never know because that is not the way most people vote. Some will vote for Obama because he is black. Some will vote for McCain because Sarah Plain is good looking. And so the story goes. Which lie are we going to fall for? If your thinking either is going to solve your financial woes, you need to wake up. You and you alone will solve those alone.
